Superhood is seeking a driven International Business Development Intern to join our expansion team and help us scale our business across new markets. This unpaid internship offers hands-on experience in international business strategy and market expansion at an innovative tech startup. The opportunity is mainly for students who need practical training to complement their studies. Ideally, you’d be based in the Helsinki region, in Finland.

About Superhood

Superhood is a social platform that builds value for complete local ecosystems of consumers, local businesses, and government organizations. As an early-stage startup based in Helsinki but operating remote-first, we're looking for ambitious talent to help us expand into new international markets and build our global presence.

What You'll Do

As our International Business Development Intern, you'll be at the forefront of our global expansion strategy:

• Support the formulation of comprehensive internationalization strategies
• Research and evaluate potential target markets using data-driven approaches
• Analyze and refine our business model and value proposition for different markets
• Contribute to developing go-to-market strategies for selected international markets
• Plan for growth hacking initiatives and international sales development
• Participate in strategic planning sessions and international business workshops

What We're Looking For

• Business or marketing student with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Interest in international business, market expansion, and startup growth strategies
• Research-oriented mindset with the ability to gather and analyze market data
• Self-starter attitude - you're comfortable taking initiative and working independently
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present findings clearly
• Curiosity about different markets, cultures, and business environments

• Duration: Minimum 3 months or as required by your school, with the possibility of extension based on performance and company needs

• Location: Preferably in the Helsinki region, but remote is also possible
• Travel opportunities: Stockholm, Tallinn, and selected international target markets
• Start date: ASAP
